Italy 2007 Attendance Policy

The following Attendance Policy will be in effect for St. Gregory Parish Choir Members attending the Italy pilgrimage:

The bottom line: Why do I want you at these rehearsals?  Because of the difficulty of the music - We have a lot to learn, and I have high expectations for you as a Member of a Choir that will represent St. Gregory. 

• There will be at least 16 total rehearsals; Choir members who wish to sing on this tour will only be allowed two (2) excused absences - no more than 2.
• If you miss more than two(2) absences, you may come on the trip as a Friend of the Choir.  
• No unexcused absences, unexcused tardies, or excused tardies will be tolerated.  BE EARLY

You need to plan accordingly around these rehearsals.  Therefore, read over the back of the trip brochure under TERMS AND CONDITIONS on refunds, because after you pay your deposit you may not get all of your money back.  You must decide BEFORE you send in your down payment whether you can commit to this trip. 

I know you want to feel as prepared as you can, so just plan on being at all of the Italy-specific rehearsals so this isn't even an issue.

I also need you to understand that the Parish Choir season repertoire will coincide a lot with the Italy repertoire.  I will do that purposely to give us more time to work on the specific Italy pieces and to give us chances to sing the pieces in performance mode.
